With a previous focus on recycled polyesters and organic cottons to demonstrate their sustainable attributes, components continue to gain momentum in their role in eco-responsible transformation, with a wide variety of options.
Available resources now include recycled metals, linens, hemp and nettles along with plant-based by-products in the form of natural yarns, mixed papers and bio-sourced plastics using pineapple, cactus, wheat and olive. Eco-design extends to coloring and finishing as well as repairability options, redesigned to minimize negative impacts throughout the product’s life cycle.
