Pontetorto has been producing quality fabrics through their high level of expertise and innovation for over half a century.
For this Spring Summer 19 collection, they are developing new products for their 3 lines:
Structured suiting fabrics in cotton mixed with linen or wool for both women’s and men’s. Light tweeds for jackets in cotton/viscose blends, and metallic and bright effects. Vintage looks and stone-washed cottons for jackets. Madras and Vichy fancies in Tencel/viscose/linen for casual shirts and light dresses. Barre’ stripes in lightweight fabrics with transparent effects.
Light coat weights in worsted wool and cotton/wool, single and double, and two-tones.
A collection focused on sustainability, with a wide use of organic fibres (primarily cotton and linen), with important inserts of recycled cotton yarns and fabric developments with Tencel, which is even more sustainable than viscose. Fabric/colour trends feature natural-fibre hybrid blends in bright colours with a delicate and rich feel and look, with special fancies both in woven and in knitted fabrics. A particular research into the look of woven and jacquards fabrics.
