Unexpected Metallics
Metallics are worked in fresh new colors, with boldly surprising mixes of complementary contrasts and luminous greyish tones. Flat lamés shimmer with printed motifs. Silkies are given a modern edge with aluminized finishings and technical calenderings. Lace – sometimes transparent, sometimes reflecting – dabbles in illusion, taking on an almost dreamlike quality.
Solarized Shadows
Piercing the darkness of browns and blacks, solar yellows and luminous oranges seem to throw off the fiery rays of an eternal sunset. In this ballet of light and shadow, everything is in motion, on shifting silkies, supple suitings and embroideries featuring reversible sequins. Graduated checks, ikat-style stripes and sprayed prints all multiple their halo-like effects.
