Italian brand True Royal reinvents Première Vision Paris outfits

Established in 2008 in Milan by Gennaro Esposito and Fabrizio Berzeri, the True Royal brand develops a unique style driven by a perpetual quest for creativity and quality through high-end materials in the purest Italian tradition.

A genderless silhouette

Designed using the colors of the new Première Vision Autumn-Winter 23-24 range, the two unisex jacket and trouser silhouettes have been specially created to dress the hosts and hostesses of the Première Vision Paris shows in July 2022 and February 2023.

Première Vision: What was the inspiration behind the look you designed for PV Paris?

“The initial idea that inspired the look created by True Royal for PV Paris was to create an outfit that goes beyond genres, a highly topical theme that is linked to the unisex tradition of the late 1960s.

A sort of “new uniform”, which had as its characteristics the simplicity, ease and sex appeal necessary to bring out the personality and uniqueness of the wearer beyond the gender. Because the only fashion that will never go away is your own unique and inimitable style!”

An organic cotton fabric truly Made in Italy

To create the new outfits for the show, True Royal has teamed up with Italian weaver Borghi 1819, exhibitor at Première Vision Paris.

The designers have chosen an exceptional fabric made with Supima organic cotton, developed and produced in Italy by this historical mill. The transformation of raw cotton into yarn and afterwards into fabric, takes place totally in Italy thanks to a vertical fully integrated supply chain.

Visit Borghi 1819’s supplier page and meet them stand 6D2, Hall 6, at Paris Nord Villepinte from 5 to 7 July 2022.

Première Vision: What materials and accessories are you using to create the outfit and why?

“To create our outfit we used a material with a “basic” but high quality look, a Borghi woven cotton drill which, in addition to summarizing the characteristics of simplicity, ease and essentiality of the brand, enhanced the silhouette we had in mind.

The Kakhi color (“Fermented Mastic” from the AW 23-24 Première Vision color range) enhances the clean lines of the look and is underlined by the use of a lime color (“Hi-tech Lime” from the AW 23-24 Première Vision color range) in the belt for a captivating streetwear touch.”

The hosting team awaits you in its new True Royal x Borghi outfit on 5,6 & 7 July 2022 at Paris Nord Villepinte!
