The aim of this study is to get a better understanding of what factors influence consumers’ purchasing decisions. In particular, what role does sustainability play in determining their choices? A study of three major product groups – clothing, leather and jeans – will also measure how much consumers know about eco-friendly materials. This special consumer study – conducted within the framework of the IFM/Première Vision Chair – will cover France, Italy, Germany, the UK and the USA.
