SBS opens new possibilities to pioneer a sustainable future

As global consensus builds around the urgent need to accomplish net-zero emissions, the energy transition is one of the overarching strategic themes of SBS at present. Promoting sustainability, social compliance and social responsibility are of paramount importance.

SBS values our collaboration with our customers and cooperation with our business partners who share the same value. We are currently undergoing a Roadmap campaign to ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals), and it is expected to be completed by 2030.

The ZDHC outlines our future activities and provides us a clear blueprint for the safer and cleaner outputs we want to see, which is to lower carbon emissions throughout the entire supply chain.

When it comes to sustainability, we own an in-house production line dedicated to producing recycled zippers and they are certified by GRS (Global Recycled Standard). Our recycled zippers are made from 100% recyclable PET water bottles. For our recycled nylon zipper, in particular, everything from the tape, slider, puller to the teeth is made from post-consumer polyester.

SBS places a great emphasis on promoting sustainable development on a long-term basis. We are committed to protecting our environment and conserving energy resources in support of sustainable business practices.

SBS continues to incorporate a green approach to our routine business practices and work closely with various stakeholders in achieving long-term sustainable growth and development. At SBS, we make use of the Higg Index to gauge and foster our sustainability practices. We aim to create a better and greener future for our customers and business partners.
