Chargeurs*PCC Digitalizes Its Offers

Chargeurs*PCC, the world’s largest apparel interlinings manufacturer, is digitizing their business in innovative ways to enable sustainability and flexibility at every stage.

“The pandemic has revealed how crucial end-to-end supply chain digitization is, not only to create a more sustainable fashion industry, but to ensure business continuity amid disruptions.”

– Gianluca Tanzi, CEO of Chargeurs*PCC Fashion Technologies.

The company is building on its early sustainability momentum to cement its leadership as a full-circle digital company driving sustainable design and production through innovation.

The Sustainable 360™ line, originally launched in 2019, is the first complete collection of interlinings and inner components made with eco-responsible materials used by leading brands such as Adidas, Itochu, J.Crew, Claudie Pierlot, Macy’s, Maje, Madewell, PVH, Target and Uniqlo among others.

In pursuit of sustainability, Chargeurs*PCC made an early investment in digitization last year when it launched an exclusive partnership with 3D design software leader CLO Virtual Fashion, becoming the first interlinings company to make its products available as digitized assets that can instantly be added to 3D virtual fashion designs.

The partnership gives brand designers rendering and pattern-making capabilities that diminish the need for physical samples while significantly speeding product development and time to market. To date, there have been nearly 10,000 downloads of Chargeurs-PCC interlinings on the CLO-SET Marketplace.

“By adding Chargeurs*PCC’ interlining products to our platform as digital assets, we will help companies shorten their lead times by making the design process more efficient and comprehensive, eliminating miscommunication and guesswork, and reducing waste and energy usage associated with physical sample making and shipping.”

– Simon Kim, CEO of CLO Virtual Fashion.

Chargeurs*PCC has also created a digital showroom that offers an immersive virtual experience for the company’s customers, no matter where they are located. Focused on The Fusion Line of performance materials that can be used in innovative ways to make even tailored clothing more comfortable, the virtual hub incorporates materials in its digital library and links to CLO’s 3D software and features a product gallery of interlinings and inner components for multiple fashion, apparel and accessories categories.

Chargeurs*PCC has more digital products and services on the horizon, which they will announce later this spring.
