The desire to demonstrate complete environmental excellence is here to stay. Traceability is a major objective for establishing monitoring of products from the upstream stages and ensuring animal welfare. Best practices from the wet work to the treatment of effluent are multiplying in order to obtain leather that meets ICEC, CSCB or LWG standards. This includes initiatives such as using manufacturing waste to create fertilizer, or new amalgamated materials. The approach is global and rigorous in order to guarantee the integrity of the actions being undertaken.
