The Smart Creation universe inaugurates its Smart Tech zone

Since 2017, the Smart Creation universe installed in Hall 4 of the PV Paris exhibition has brought together the most innovative companies and start-ups in the industry, all committed to promote greater eco-responsibility.

Find out more about the Smart Creation

Previously divided into the Smart Materials and Smart Solutions sectors, Smart Creation will welcome in February a new innovation zone: Smart Tech.

An animation zone in collaboration with IFTH

Convinced of the value of these tech innovations, and aware of the difficulty many players in the industry still have in accessing the technologies already available, Première Vision and the Institut Français du Textile et de l’Habillement have joined forces to open the doors of textile virtualisation to visitors to the show, thanks to a unique experimentation space.

Located in the heart of the new Smart Tech area, the DIGITAL FASHION EXPERIENCE will allow you to discover, alongside a team of experts, several materials and technologies, to test them and to discuss their potential and their advantages.

The entire digital design chain of a garment will be presented and accessible in this area, in order to offer visitors a complete and concrete digital experience, a real-life example of the digital design process of textile models.

During the 3 days of the show, this new experiential zone will present computer-aided design solutions (3D CAD), fabric virtualisation equipment, textile characterisation equipment and a “bodyscan” body measurement solution.

Guided tours of the Smart Tech area

Once a day, in French or English, tours of this new Smart Tech area are organised in the company of an expert guide in charge of explaining the various technological innovations and digital solutions offered by the 20 exhibitors in the area.

A 30-minute presentation aimed at deciphering the products and services offered by these cutting-edge companies and guiding visitors through their questions and problems in order to recommend them with tailor-made technological solutions.

These tours are limited to 20 people and are available by registration only:

A half-day of talks on the topic

In order to better understand the challenges of digitalization and the concrete applications of these new technologies in the various fields of the industry, the show will offer visitors a half-day of talks entirely devoted to the innovations and solutions highlighted in the Smart Tech zone. All the Smart Tech exhibitors will participate in these round tables.

This program, realized in partnership with the Fashion Tech online magazine The Interline, gathers 4 conferences on the Talk Area of Hall 4 in the afternoon of Wednesday 8 February, from 2pm to 6pm:
