Step into innovation with ECOPEL! Don’t miss the playful 3D animation highlighting plastic alternatives and showcasing the full potential of PLA.

Ecopel Animation PV Paris Sep25Neither real nor faux, ECOPEL introduces a groundbreaking plant-based fur, crafted entirely from vegetal ingredients, meeting the challenge of zero-plastic fashion.

As the environmental crisis dominates the agenda, reducing—and ultimately eliminating—polyester use has become a priority for the textile industry.

Committed to sustainability for many years, ECOPEL now aims to expand its plastic-free offer and make it accessible to fashion industry players.

A 3D experience to highlight plastic alternatives

Through a simple, playful, and highly visual experience, located right next to ECOPEL's booth (5S98), the brand will showcase PLA (polylactic acid) and bio-sourcing.

PLA—What is it?

It is a natural polymer derived from the fermentation of sugar from plant residues. Still little used in textiles, this emerging industry holds enormous ecological potential.

A 3D printer will demonstrate PLA’s possibilities by creating playful figurines on-site, sparking conversations around the impact of synthetic vs. natural textiles, and—most importantly—the viable solutions already within reach.

Remaining fully animal-friendly, ECOPEL is investing in alternatives to plastic-based textiles by opening the new chapter of bio-based fur alongside Première Vision Paris.

On-site, around thirty bio-furs will be unveiled, accompanied by a decorative installation showcasing textile innovation in the service of fashion and the environment.
