French fashion house Guigou celebrates two centuries of textile avant-garde through a unique artistic installation presented at Blossom Première Vision.
Founded in 1826, Guigou has established itself as a key reference, supporting some of the greatest couture houses — from Madame Grès to Coco Chanel, as well as Azzedine Alaïa, Jean-Paul Gaultier, and Courrèges. It is renowned for its silk and viscose jerseys, with their incomparable grain and drape, as well as for its dense, compact, and structured knits rooted in the 1970s.
The installation presented at Première Vision Blossom marks a pivotal moment for the group. In 2025, Guigou, Sfate, and Combier joined Bugis, a French specialist in natural knit fabrics for over 70 years. This alliance reflects the vitality and transmission of French textile craftsmanship.
