For over 30 years, Kabir Leathers has been crafting premium leather and woven accessories for leading global fashion and lifestyle brands across USA, Europe, UK, and Japan.

Founded in 1995 in India, Kabir Leathers began with a strong focus on leather artistry and has built a reputation for high-quality manufacturing, design-led development, and specialised expertise in woven leather bags and accessories. In 2018, we expanded into raffia and sustainable-material products, bringing together artisanal weaving techniques with contemporary design sensibilities. Today, our strength lies in combining traditional craftsmanship with modern manufacturing capabilities to create products that balance luxury aesthetics, functionality, and durability. We work across a wide range of materials and finishes including soft nappa, vegetable-tanned leathers, washed leathers, suede, metallics, and mixed-material combinations. Kabir Leathers is particularly known for its handwoven leather & grass raffia products, hand-braided detailing, cutwork techniques, and refined finishing that bring depth and character to every product.

Innovation and R&D remain central to our development philosophy. We continuously explore new constructions, textures, and material applications to help brands create distinctive collections. Recently, we expanded our technical capabilities with advanced Riveting and Precision Cutwork machinery, enabling more intricate design executions while maintaining high levels of consistency and technical excellence. Our raffia developments reflect sustainability and social impact. Most of our woven raffia bag panels are handcrafted by women artisans from village communities who work from their homes. This flexible work model allows them to earn a sustainable livelihood while continuing to care for their families and households, creating meaningful economic empowerment through skill-based employment.
