Seventy years of textile innovation to give new form to materials, without ever compromising on quality and performance.

When in 1955 the world was still silent on issues of sustainability, circular economy, and waste reduction, Imbotex was already setting a new direction. The company started by producing mattress padding, collecting and transforming waste from local textile companies. From this pioneering insight, "Millefiori" was born: a mélange wadding, made from mixed and recycled fibers.

Imbotex article sponsorisé juin 25It marked the beginning of a story built on the circular economy, long before this concept became mainstream. Today, celebrating 70 years of experience, Imbotex remains one of the most advanced companies in the padding industry, standing out for its ability to combine different production technologies with high design flexibility. Not just standard padding: every piece can be fully customised, based on parameters such as fiber percentage and production technique, to meet specific needs of style, performance, and sustainability. To confirm its commitment to innovation, the company holds several patents, attesting to its strength and uniqueness in the sector. This tailor-made approach has led, in the past 20 years, to collaborations with the most iconic brands in the luxury and sportswear sectors. Exclusive padding, made with the clients' own materials, for unique products that are consistent with their identity.

A highlight of its research is Le Jean Recyclé, one of the latest innovations: a colored and high-performance wadding made from cotton post-industrial pre-consumer waste. A soft, breathable, durable, and sustainable material that retains all the characteristics of virgin denim.
What makes all the padding in the recycled collection even more responsible is the fully mechanical production process. A clean, safe approach that protects the health of those who work and wear the finished product. The commitment to sustainability does not mean compromising on quality: on the contrary, the added value lies in the union between technical performance and environmental responsibility.
