Samuele Ruta Brings the Strata Collection to Denim PV

Samuele Ruta, alumnus of the Master's Programme in Fashion Design at NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (Milan campus), will present an exhibition of his STRATA collection at Denim Première Vision, taking place on 25 and 26 November 2026 at Superstudio Più, Via Tortona 27, Milan.
Denim Première Vision is an international event dedicated to the denim supply chain, bringing together professionals, companies and creatives to explore materials, production processes, innovations and industry trends. Within this context, Samuele Ruta's project offers a reflection on the expressive potential of fabric and the possibilities for transforming the surface and structure of a garment.
STRATA originated as the final project of Samuele Ruta's academic journey at NABA and represents the founding manifesto of his creative vision. Through washes, finishes, handcrafted interventions and textile experimentation, material is no longer merely the medium of a garment, but becomes the starting point of the creative narrative.
Pattern-making, construction lines and specific treatments define the garments, while marks, imperfections and layers preserve traces of the production process and shape their identity.
The research brings together artisanal sensibility and technical experimentation, highlighting the relationship between design, materials and production. The development of the collection involved the partners Berto Industria Tessile, Tonello, Trapuntatura Belpunto and Geocot.
Samuele Ruta was also a finalist in the 2025 edition of Milano Moda Graduate, an initiative promoted by the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, in the YKK category.
His presence at Denim Première Vision (Superstudio Più, 25-26 November 2026) represents a further opportunity to gain visibility and engage with professionals from across the international denim supply chain.
