Beauty Preview Autumn-Winter 26-27: Première Vision beauty trends brought to life by the MAKE UP FOR EVER Academy
For the Autumn-Winter 26-27 season, three forward-looking scenarios – New Dynasties, Ego-Eco, and Territories of Expression – outline the major creative directions ahead. For the first time, these trends also embrace the emerging aesthetics of the Beauty sector, highlighting the inspirations and growing convergences between fashion and cosmetics.
Next September, Première Vision will unveil its first Beauty pathways, brought to life through visuals by the MAKE UP FOR EVER Academy, invited to showcase a selection of photographs of student creations echoing the season’s trends.
New Dynasties

High Precision
The first scenario, New Dynasties, envisions a beauty aesthetic defined by rigor and extreme precision. Beauty becomes technical and expert. Makeup asserts itself as a millimetric architecture: ultra-fine pigments, sharp lines, calibrated finishes. The palette evokes a metallic universe with razor-sharp reflections – metallized greys, brushed silvers. A beauty conceived as an ultra-targeted gesture, where science and innovation merge into the brilliance of metallic perfection and absolute exactitude.

Protective Armor
Alongside this engineered beauty emerges another approach, more intimate and protective, where skin becomes a territory of care and resilience. Beauty takes the form of a shield-treatment that protects, repairs, and strengthens the skin. Makeup evolves as an extension of skincare: primers, concealers, and foundations integrate powerful actives—botanical antioxidants, adaptive UV filters, probiotics—to create an invisible barrier against UV rays, pollution, and oxidative stress. Hybrid, ultra-light textures fuse with the skin without suffocating it, offering breathable protection, like a biological armor. The chromatic palette explores second-skin nudes, amber-tinted beiges, and sheer transparencies, for a cocooning natural radiance that reflects the quiet strength of protective beauty.

Multisensory Experience
In contrast to these worlds of mastery and protection, Territories of Expression opens up a more hedonistic and experimental field, where beauty is lived as a total sensory and artistic experience, blending touch, sight, taste, and smell. It takes shape in indulgent textures: silky oils, glossy gels, melting milks, supple balms. The edible and hedonistic aspect is reinforced by a vibrant, pop-inspired palette—fruity reds, tangy yellows, candy pinks—highlighted with ultra-glossy effects reminiscent of honey or syrup.
Beauty also becomes a space for artistic experimentation, influenced by surrealism: tactile contrasts, disruptive placements, biomorphic ornaments (pearls, flowers, membranes, crystals) integrated into the skin. Textures collide—ultra-wet, velvety, at times evoking hair—while saturated shades (reds, blues, purples) intensify the emotional impact. The skin becomes a living canvas for expressive beauty, suspended between nature and artifice.

The mission of the MAKE UP FOR EVER Academy is to welcome, train, and develop the expertise of tomorrow’s makeup artists through a unique pedagogy that combines theory, practice, and know-how.
