PROJECT TOMORROW: Shaping the Future Through Education, Creativity, and Research
Denim Première Vision continues its commitment to nurturing the next generation of creatives with a new structured educational programme dedicated to students from fashion, design, and art schools. This initiative, evolving from the successful collaborations of past editions, aims to inspire, inform, and involve young talents from across the globe in shaping the future of the denim industry.
A Dedicated Educational PathwayOn the second day of the show – 22 May at 3:30pm – Denim Première Vision will host an exclusive seminar led by the fashion team of Première Vision, focusing on Autumn-Winter 26-27 trends. This insightful session will explore key themes, innovative materials, and cutting-edge products showcased at the fair by international exhibitors. |
On 22 May, after the seminar, students will be invited to participate in a guided tour of the Fashion Forum, where they will experience first-hand the creative and technical process behind trend forecasting, textile research, and visual storytelling. This immersive experience will not only allow them to engage with the show's most innovative materials but also to understand the methodology and curatorial work behind the presentation of trends. |
Fun Time & NetworkingAfter an afternoon of inspiration and learning, students will have the opportunity to connect and relax during a dedicated Happy Hour in the Denim Fashion District, where informal networking and exchange of ideas can take place among peers, professionals, and exhibitors. The session will start at 5:00 pm on 21 May, after the show closes. |
Design the Future – 2026 Campaign ProjectThis May edition also marks the launch of “Design the Future”, an exclusive contest open to students from participating institutions. The project invites young creatives to imagine and develop the visual identity for the 2026 Denim Première Vision campaign. One selected image will be officially unveiled during the November edition and will serve as the core communication of the event throughout the following year across all platforms and materials. |
This is a unique opportunity for emerging designers and image-makers to gain international visibility, connect with the denim community, and contribute creatively to a globally recognised event.
Continuing the Journey – From September OnwardStarting in September, Denim PV will take this educational mission even further with a series of on-campus presentations at leading fashion and design schools. These sessions will not only introduce students to upcoming seasonal trends but will also highlight the creative genesis of trend development, emphasising the importance of research, material innovation, and collaborative dialogue in shaping tomorrow’s denim landscape. |
With this renewed commitment to education, Denim Première Vision and Première Vision reinforce the role not only as a marketplace for the denim industry but also as a cultural and educational hub where tradition meets innovation, and where the voices of tomorrow are empowered to express their vision today.
