Talk “Casually Ethical” by Promostyl

The need to translate our newfound sense of comfort while preserving our planet and mental health has given way to a new wardrobe : casual wear. Promostyl’s experts explain how to merge the casual and classic wardrobes in a globally ethical manner, through fabric sourcing, innovation and green practices.

Talk presented by Malaïka Ewande and Sébastien Renault, artistic directors at Promostyl.

Malaïka Ewande is graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design with a specialization in Trend foracasting from Atelier Chardon Savard in Paris. She regularly observes social behaviors and artistic movements to identify upcoming trends. In addition, she uses her personal multicultural heritage to design her personal collections as a gender-neutral designer.

Sébastien Renault is a graduate in fashion design from the Haute École Francisco Ferrer in Brussels. In 2000, he won the international Défi Mode competition in Brussels. His collections have been presented in different galleries in Brussels. In addition, they worn on stage by the Smashing Pumpkins. He has worked as a stylist, buyer, source, art director and collection manager for various designers, such as Olivier Theyskens or Laëtitia Ivanez, and retail brands in France and abroad. Today he is the artistic director of the trend agency Promostyl. In addition, he teaches fashion design, management, communication and English MBA at the school Mod’Art International in Paris.
