Denim PV to join the ‘a better way’ programme

On 5 & 6 June, Denim PV returns to the Superstudio Più for a promising new edition in Milan. Among this season’s changes, the show dedicated to jeanswear will inaugurate its involvement in the ‘a better way’ programme, designed to give greater visibility to the sustainable initiatives of Première Vision exhibitors. Find out more about ‘a better way’ and the participating exhibitors.

‘a better way’, the key to making your sustainable sourcing easier

Each season, the sustainable offer of the PV exhibitors is extends to new initiatives. To make this offer easier to read and help visitors find exhibitors who meet their needs, Première Vision has designed the ‘a better way’ decoding programme.

A better way programme

This initiative has been developed with the help of several independent experts and takes into account a system of questionnaires submitted to exhibitors, as well as a range of international certifications, labels and programmes, such as GOTS, FSC® and OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.

A total of 5 criteria distinguish the participating exhibitors: social initiatives, impact of production sites, traceability, product composition and processes, sustainability, and end-of-life of the finished product.

This multi-criteria approach, without ranking or rating, aims to qualify the level of sustainability of each exhibitor on these 5 major themes. This makes it easier for visitors to find suppliers who match their concerns and commitments.

Focus on the ‘a better way’ exhibitors

Rolled out for the first time at the Première Vision Paris show in July 2023, ‘a better way’ takes the form of a new pictogram on the booth of participating exhibitors.
