Pontex aims to eco-responsibility for the textile industry The - Première Vision Paris

The commitment to the environment and the value of awareness are at the heart of new Pontex’s Spring Summer Collection.
The focus proposal concerning resin-treated, in particular deserves a reflection: eco-friendliness is celebrated with natural and plant fibres, the “nature effect” of which increases because coating with natural resins, gots dyes with natural colourings and pigments and closed-circuit finishings are applied to these fibres.
The bio impact of resin coating and finishings 100% Made in Italy increases thanks to fluorocarbon free treatments: thus, we can obtain waterproof, high-performing technical fabrics, with a “soft and round” hand that adapts to the realization of sportswear as well as of elegant clothes, but without using toxic chemical substances that would remain in the environment.
Pontex aims at eliminating perfluorinated compounds and the trend topic of the season is given by the 70% bio-based membranes based on natural substances like corn and rapeseed, waterproof and with an organic base, that can be applied to any kind of fabric.
The new Pontex Collection is inclusive in all respects: each proposed fabric has got a versatile use and each aspect is customizable, depending on the functionality required for the finished piece of clothing.
