The one change PV NY Talk

We all want a fashion industry where creation is infinite, where products are never out of stock, where manufacturers can run at full capacity, and where we contribute to the planet instead of polluting it.

But, if we keep on the current path, we’ll never get there—we’ll get more SHEIN. It’s time for a revolution in how the fashion industry works. In this session, Lawrence Lenihan, Chairman and Co-Founder of Resonance, along with Jeffrey Costello and Robert Tagliapietra, Co-founders of JCRT, will showcase how a new platform for the industry empowers brands to make one garment sustainably, on demand, resiliently, and more profitably than ever before. Attendees will see a demo of how beautiful clothing is being made in an entirely new way – creating a sustainable and valuable industry for everyone

Over the course of his 30 year career, Lawrence Lenihan, Chairman and Co-founder of Resonance, has started 10 technology companies and brands, invested in dozens of companies that have transformed or created new industries, built products and brands that have charted new paths for the fashion industry’s future, and has taught fashion innovation and entrepreneurship for more than a decade as an adjunct professor at NYU. Prior to Resonance, Lenihan was the founder and CEO of FirstMark Capital, where he was an early investor in Shopify, Pinterest, Digital Currency Group, and Tommy John. In 2015, he left to launch Resonance, a company building a sustainable and profitable future for the fashion industry by enabling any brand to make one garment on-demand, at scale, sustainably and profitably.
