REO-ECO is a fully vertical recycling company transforming polyester waste into high-quality products. By managing every step in-house, from waste sorting and processing to spinning filament yarn and producing finished fabrics, the company ensures efficiency, traceability, and consistent quality. Its recycled products include rPET chips, filament yarn, dope-dye filament yarn, and fabrics, all PFAS- and BPA-free.

REO-ECO applies two recycling methods: mechanical and biological.
Through mechanical recycling, the company operates a direct spinning facility with the capacity to produce 250,000 tons of filament yarn per year, as well as its first facility for producing rPET chips.

The company’s most groundbreaking innovation is BioCulus, a biological recycling process for textile-to-textile.

Reo Eco BioculusBioCulus uses patented enzymes to break polyester textile waste down to its original building blocks. The process is water-based, free from chemicals and solvents, and requires no high temperatures or pressure. The recovered polyester is restored to virgin-grade quality and ready to be spun into new high-performance yarn. This makes true circular textile-to-textile recycling resources smart and scalable. REO-ECO’s upscale BioCulus facility will open in December 2025, marking a major step forward for the textile industry.

As an important bridge toward this future, REO-ECO has introduced a transition phase: a mix of 80% post-consumer bottle flakes and 20% post-consumer textile waste. This approach increases the share of textile waste in recycling today, while balancing the higher cost of textile-to-textile solutions. It enables brands to take a practical step forward, moving closer to full textile-to-textile adoption in a gradual, scalable way.Reo Eco PV Paris Sep 25

Turning waste into new beginnings, the company shows its commitment to innovation and to being a solution provider for the industry, shaping a smarter textile industry.
