Première Vision Paris

At Première Vision Paris, CITEVE proudly showcases Portugal as a true Territory of Savoir-faire, where centuries of textile expertise meet state-of-the-art technological innovation. In addition, MODAPORTUGAL will showcase a Portuguese textile and apparel industry rooted in Territories of Savoir-faire, where living know-how evolves through innovation and sustainability.

Under the motto “Portugal : Territory of Savoir-faire”, CITEVE presents a bold set of experimental silhouettes developed within the Be@t project, reflecting the latest achievements in applied research, sustainability and digital transformation.

These innovative pieces embody circular economy principles, eco-design and sustainability criteria from the very first stages of product conception. Developed through a strong collaborative effort involving around 20 companies across the entire textile and apparel value chain, they highlight the strength of Portugal’s vertically integrated, agile and innovation-driven industrial ecosystem.

Equipped with Digital Product Passports, the silhouettes ensure full transparency and traceability, from material origin to environmental impact, responding directly to the expectations of international brands and anticipating upcoming European regulations.

CITEVE’s presence at Première Vision reinforces Portugal’s role as a European hub for textile innovation, offering sourcing professionals a unique ecosystem capable of transforming knowledge into scalable, responsible and market-ready solutions. Through the Be@t project – Bioeconomy at Textiles, Portugal stands at the forefront of the green and digital transition, ready to co-create the future of the textile and apparel industries.

Fashion is at a decisive moment. In this talk, inspiring examples will highlight how biology-driven innovation is transforming the way fashion is designed, produced and valued. From bio-based fibres and regenerative resources to nature-inspired processes, bioeconomy enables a shift from extractive models to circular, resilient and sustainable systems, presenting a credible vision for a fashion industry that works with nature, not against it.

Supported by CENIT – Textile Intelligence Centre, the Portuguese textile and apparel industry will enjoy increased visibility at Première Vision Paris from 3 to 5 February 2026.

Within the scope of the LUSITANO Project, which brings together 17 partners, CENIT is promoting a communication campaign with strong visual impact at the show. The objective is to reinforce the international awareness of the Portuguese textile and apparel sectors among global audiences, including designers and buyers from major brands and fashion groups.

MODAPORTUGAL Experience PV Paris Feb.26

“Première Vision is a privileged stage to show the world the strength, creativity and innovation capacity of the national industry. CENIT’s work within the LUSITANO Project is precisely to create the conditions for Portuguese companies to be internationally recognised for their many added values, particularly in areas such as sustainability and digitalisation, positioning Portugal as a reference player in global markets.”

Luís Hall Figueiredo, President of CENIT

Immersive Digital Installation MODAPORTUGAL

The MODAPORTUGAL communication strategy – led by CENIT – will be presented through an immersive digital installation designed to affirm the international positioning of the Portuguese garment industry, in line with the Première Vision theme dedicated to Territories of Savoir-faire. Located in the Manufacturing area of the show (Hall 6), where 19 Portuguese companies will be present, the installation acts as an aggregating and identity-defining element, representing a living sample of the diversity, capacity and ambition of the entire Portuguese apparel and garment-making sector, rooted in territories where industrial know-how is built, transmitted and evolves.

Conceived as a portal to be crossed, the installation offers an immersive and sensory experience that communicates values, vision and commitment. More than explaining processes, it invites visitors to perceive an industry where knowledge is passed on, evolves and reinvents itself from its territories of origin, in a continuous dialogue between tradition, technology, artificial intelligence and innovation.

The MODAPORTUGAL digital installation asserts an industry 100% committed to responsible, transparent and circular models, where sustainability is structural and integrated into the way of thinking, creating and producing. New materials, recycling and upcycling practices, zero-waste processes, repair and reuse, and closed-loop approaches are part of a systemic vision that respects resources, people and territory.

From human intelligence to artificial intelligence, from “territories of know-how” to the world, MODAPORTUGAL affirms at Première Vision Paris a new generation of industry: conscious, innovative and deeply rooted in know-how. An ecosystem prepared to meet global demands and to position itself as a strategic partner for international brands.

Alongside this installation, CENIT will ensure the distribution of MODAPORTUGAL magazine throughout the fair, taking advantage of the gathering of the main decision-makers of the global industry in a single venue.

Integrated International Promotion Strategy

Additionally, within the scope of the 100% MODAPORTUGAL project – a strategic programme supporting internationalisation that promotes the global positioning of the garment, apparel and fashion industry – CENIT supports the presence of 15 Portuguese companies at Première Vision Paris, exhibiting in the Manufacturing area: Anjos e Lourenço / Barcelbordados / Cordeiro & Campos / Dicasi Brands / ETN – Empresa Têxtil Nortenha (debut) / Fatilino (debut) / FLM Têxtil / Irmãos Rodrigues / Jobarros (debut) / Ritedu / Siena / Somani / TMR Fashion Clothing / Vandoma and WAT.
