At the Heart of the Autumn-Winter 26-27 Denim Forum
This season, denim is venturing into new realms and embracing hybridisation—melding the worlds of tailoring, sportswear, and even silk craftsmanship. To reflect this evolution within the industry, Première Vision has developed a unique forum concept, highlighting three exclusive creative projects.
The commissioned artists and designers have each reinterpreted denim in their own way, pushing it into more experimental, refined, and even couture territories.
Kelly Konings x Gommatex (with the participation of Emmetex)
This first project brings together the expertise of Gommatex—an Italian company specialising in jacquards, denims, and textiles, known for its historic heritage and commitment to eco-innovation—and the vision of Kelly Konings, an artist specialised in 3D weaving and jacquard, on a collection of finished products, textiles, and accessories.
Across the various pieces in the collection, the effects of fading and wear traditionally found in jeans have been transposed into sophisticated weaving techniques, using GOTS-certified cotton yarns. The garments are crafted using a design method developed by Kelly Konings: the pieces are double-face jacquard woven with flat-pattern cutting, minimising fabric waste and reducing the number of sewing stages. Finally, textile accessories developed in collaboration with Emmetex—an Italian specialist in textile labels, ribbons, patches, and embroidery—complete the collection.

Aurélia LeBlanc
In the hands of textile artist Aurélia LeBlanc, woven works come to life—both narratively and poetically. Since 2016, Aurélia has been blending diverse and unexpected materials, including horsehair, banana fibre, and jewellery, in her studio. For the Première Vision Denim show, she is presenting an exclusive collection of recycled denims. Combining virgin fibres with delicately extracted samples from worn jeans, she enhances the existing material by adding a couture dimension to the casual denim universe.

Teintures de France
The jeans collection born from this collaboration results from work by exhibitors Artistic Milliners, Isko Luxury – Creative Room, Kipas, Outside Denim Lab, and Sharabati, which designed the models based on the AW 26-27 trends developed by the Première Vision Denim team. Teintures de France has added the final touch, with its experimental and surprising signature.

Thanks to these diverse projects, denim is continuing to demonstrate its versatility—moving wonderfully between casual and couture, craftsmanship and innovation, artisanal tradition and eco-responsibility.
