Decoding the creation of a product

You, students or young entrepreneurs, are you asking yourself what are the key steps in the realization of a finished product ready for marketing? It’s not always evident how to launch yourself into the top ranks of creativity.

To illustrate the steps to follow in creating a finished product, we followed Paul Villers, designer of the belt brand Paul.Villers Paris, during the creation of a piece in collaboration with the architect and blogger/influencer Romain Costa.

The brand Paul.Villers Paris was founded in July 2018. A brand inspired by current trends and the world surrounding the young designer, who rose through the ranks of major Parisian fashion houses. A brand based between Paris and Normandy, a region Paul loves. A brand that blends French savoir-faire, originality and the contemporary materials Paul prefers.

Here, in five points, are the necessary steps:

1 – Brainstorming, Moodboard and Sketch
2 – Patronage
3 – Sourcing during the Première Vision Paris Salon
4 – Real-time prototyping
5 – Communication and marketing
