“I come from Japan and I direct a company that works with natural materials. We make stoles and scarves from these natural materials. We produce our own threads, whose uniqueness is found in their exceptional fineness. We produce stoles in organic cotton, linen, viscose, silk, cashmere and wool.
We control the production chain from thread to final product. This chain has existed for 600 or 700 years in Japan, producing very fine threads woven on machines that work very gently so as not to break the threads. There is, then, a small quantity produced, but it is what makes for the originality and particularity of our house and our region, which works with natural colorants and the local water. The water is very important.”
