The sport & fashion couple: more than ever inseparable!

While this love story, which dates back to the early 20th century, is now at its peak, the dynamism of the leading brands in the field continues unabated.

The inclusion of sport in fashion is no longer just a trend, it is a necessity for many fashion brands, whether they come from fast fashion or luxury. In September 2018, Pascal Monfort pointed out that “80% of sneakers had never run or seen a gym”. Barely a year later, the number of pairs of sneakers in the fashion brands’ collections has risen from 3 to 9, a spectacular leap. The impact of sport is such that the new generation no longer talks about sneakers or sneakers but shoes. The consumer, more and more aware, has appropriated sportswear in his daily life and will not go back.

Conference moderated by Pascal Monfort, Founder, REC Trends Marketing
