That’s the new denim trend according to MayDenim, who since 2012 has been specialising in denims for active and urban fashions for men and women. This Turkish company sees the next winter season featuring metallic reflections and colour, with insertions of metal studs and brightly coloured Lurex yarns to update the most classic stripes and accompany the return of straight-fit jeans.
As evidence of a market constantly seeking personalization and exceptionality, aged denims – washed-out and covered in punk-style lettering – pop up alongside easy-going models, like forest green pants with supple lines realized by the Turkish manufacturer. These, along with a T- shirt designed by Wataru-Petit Bateau, comprised the hostess outfit at the latest edition of Première Vision Paris. A denim for anywhere and all occasions.
