jamie Bainbridge


Vice President of Product Development, Bolt Threads

Her efforts are focused on moving the company’s new protein-based performance fiber out of the laboratory, through to yarn and finally textile development, and into the marketplace. Working with industry partners, Jamie will be engaging the best minds in the textile industry to tackle every aspect of yarn and textile development.

Previously, Jamie was Director of Product, Textiles and Sustainability for Nau Clothing, a brand focused on sustainable textiles and manufacturing practices; her past experience also includes research and development and innovation work at brands such as Nike and Patagonia. She serves as the chair of the advisory council for the Outdoor Industry Association Sustainability Working Group and as a member of the Chemicals Management working group of the Sustainable Apparel Coalition.

Shirley CHIEN

Shirley Chien is head of operations at Araks, a luxury lingerie and swimwear brand, where she oversees production, design and marketing. For over 15 years at Araks Shirley has overseen the growth of the brand including the launch of the organic lingerie collection in 2008 and the sustainable swimwear collection in 2014.  Recognized in 2018 for the brand’s commitment to sustainability, Araks was selected to participate in the 2019 CFDA + LEXUS FASHION* INITIATIVE to further its commitment to sustainable innovation.  Shirley received a B.A. in economics and B.F.A. in art from Cornell University

Lauren Croke leads strategy development at KYUREEOSITY— a consulting services firm that aims to offer a simpler understanding of the most critical issues and opportunities facing retail brands and industries. Her work helps company leaders take the first steps towards integrating more sustainable solutions by thoughtfully guiding the discovery and framing of strategies and communications.

With more than 25 years of experience in key leadership positions across luxury apparel, hospitality, and financial services Lauren’s unique visionary blend of strategy grounded in creativity, and innovative thinking has led to paradigm shifts in business models, practices and profitability.

Prior to KYUREEOSITY, Lauren was a senior business and operations executive at apparel brand EILEEN FISHER.  Throughout her 19+ year tenure, she developed and led a wide range of distinct teams and departments that pioneered the development of next generation business strategies, organizational design and sustainability initiatives.  In addition to her time at EILEEN FISHER, Croke founded Marlo Productions—providing pro-bono business planning, marketing, branding, and strategy development guidance to emerging entrepreneurs.

Lauren has led consultation and facilitation for a number of multi-sector stakeholder engagements.  Her current working portfolio allows her to share her expertise as a valued strategic advisor and business mentor to public and non-profit organizations.

Croke is a frequent speaker at conferences and has been featured in publications and peer-reviewed industry journals.


Vice President of Sustainability, Product & Business Strategy, Mara Hoffman

Dana Davis graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City in 2003, and immediately co-founded a design label and retail store in Brooklyn, NY. After several years, her passion in production and design led to her to work across the
apparel industries at various companies such as Urban Outfitters, Macys and Carlisle Group.

In 2010, she was recruited by Mara Hoffman to lead and grow the company’s Production Department, where she secured partnerships with facilities across the world while optimizing internal processes. In 2012, Davis became the Director of
Production and Design and was integral in the company’s transformation into the recognizable and widely distributed brand that it is today.

In 2015, Founder and President Mara Hoffman appointed Davis to spearhead the company’s transition towards sustainability. Since then, the Mara Hoffman brand has taken critical steps to mapping, evaluating, and reconfiguring its supply chain in order to make positive changes.

Dana, now the Vice President of Sustainability, Product and Business Strategy is also an advisor for Fashion Revolution USA and is engaged with industry organizations, educators and innovators such as Fashion Positive, Textile Exchange, CFDA, and
the SAC.

Carmen GAMA

Designer, Renew by Eileen Fisher

Carmen Gama is a New York-based designer born and raised in Mexico. She attended Parsons The New School for Design in New York and graduated as a finalist for the ‘Designer of the Year’ Award, Class of 2015. Upon graduation, Gama’s ‘Sustainable Urban Outerwear’ thesis earned her the inaugural Eileen Fisher x CFDA Social Innovator fellowship. During her fellowship, Gama worked collaboratively to design a scalable and profitable manufacturing system for the recycled EILEEN FISHER garments, which concluded with a “Remade in The USA” capsule collection that debued in July 2016. Today, EILEEN FISHER Renew has taken back over a million garments and done over 10 million dollars in sales.

Gama has a true passion for solution-based design and technological innovation. Through this framework she is constantly challenging her design values by striving to design clothes with the potential to last a lifetime and utilizing processes that make the most of old garments to create new designs. Gama has been featured in numerous publications including Womens Wear Daily, The Wall Street Journal, and Harper’s Bazaar.


Marketing and Communication Manager, M.I.T.I. Spa

Gambarini Laura is the  Marketing and Communication Manager at Miti. She joined the company in 2015 with main focus of Asia and Pacific sales. As Asia specialist she had several years of permanence and work in China, she worked in the fashion business and contributes her know-how in on- & offline marketing, growth, content management, and public relations. Originally she started her career in the fashion accessories and is inspired by innovative technology. Laura holds a MD from the University of Venice.

Founder, Morphi

Sophia Georgiou is the founder and chief designer of Morphi, a simple, powerful and easy to learn 3D design software for iPad, Mac and Windows that she built with her team for 3D printing, augmented reality, virtual reality, animation and visualization.
Morphi is used by people of all ages and skill levels in over 115 countries to design prototypes, products and inventions, teach STEAM subjects and more.


Designer & Creative Director, Heisel

Named as one of the “25 Forward Thinkers Defining the Future of Fashion”, “Top 100 Women in Wearable and Consumer Tech” and “12 Amazing People You Need to Know in New York Fashion Tech” Sylvia Heisel is a fashion designer and authority on product design for wearable tech.

Her design lab for 3D printed wearables creates prototype garments and works with fashion brands and apparel manufacturers to develop smart wearables and integrate 3D printing into their designs and supply chains. Recent pieces have been featured at The Museum of Modern Art New York, Premiere Vision Paris & New York and The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas and Shanghai.

Currently developing a methodology and fabrication system for the design and manufacturing of 3D printed garments, she envisions zero-waste clothes that are printed to order in compostable materials.


Erin Isakov


Co-Founder/Designer, Erin Snow

Erin Isakov received a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Political and Moral Philosophy + Public Policy from Brown University. Following graduation she worked at Elie Tahari and Theory before founding the ski and performance apparel brand ERIN SNOW with her husband in 2003. ERIN SNOW has since grown into a global brand with distribution across top ski and sport retailers, as well as fashion retailers including Net-A-Porter and Moda Operandi. The brand is known for its exceptional fit, innovative use of materials and commitment to making things the right way.

In 2013, Erin was honored as a finalist for the CFDA / Lexus Eco-Fashion Challenge and in 2017, Erin was named Winner of the inaugural CFDA + Lexus Fashion* Initiative for her sustainable design and business.



Director of Education + Professional Development, CFDA

As Director of Education + Professional Development, Kozlowski oversees a program portfolio of education and sustainability initiatives providing education, mentorship, & partnership awards to students, early emerging talent, and established designers. Programs include the Elaine Gold Launch Pad, CFDA+ Lexus Fashion* Initiative, Fashion Future Graduate Showcase, CFDA+, Fashion Education Summit and CFDA Scholarship Program.

Kozlowski holds an MBA in Design Strategy, from California College of the Arts & BFA, Fashion Design, Parsons School of Design with the Anna Sui and Byron Lars awards of distinction.

Prior to the CFDA, Kozlowski was Director of External Projects/ Professor of Fashion, Parsons School of Design and developed collaborative industry x education program architectures for students with part­ners including Kering, Coach, and LVMH. As a full time educator for eleven years, Kozlowski held various academic leadership roles and was Associate Director of Fashion, Academy of Art University specializing in design thesis collection and fashion systems.

Kozlowski’s 25 years in fashion design and education began working for mentor Anna Sui before launching the brand CAKE., which during its 6 years, presented during NYFW with representation from Steven Alan – sold globally at over 40 stores including Barneys New York, Intermix, Browns, and United Arrows.

Presently Kozlowski is mentor to final year collections at Polimoda, Florence and Advisory to Detroit’s CSS Fashion Accessories Design Program.

Maintaining a strong connection to student talent is important to Kozlowski who has served as invited mentor and guest juror at Parsons, F.I.T, Savannah College of Art and Design, Academy of Art University, Rhode Island School of Design, and California College of the Arts.
