Italy’s Beppetex continues to progress in the high-end cotton fabrics market. A line for outerwear and the introduction of yarn-dyeds enrich the offer for autumn-winter.
For autumn winter 2019/20, cotton-maker Beppetex turns to powerful shades: orange lobster, mint green, light blue. The collection continues to conquer international high-end targets with an emphasis on softness.
“The company has reoriented its historic production of casualwear fabrics towards the development of 100% luxury cottons and blends,” says sales manager Daniele Piccinini.
This direction makes way for precious double and triple twisted yarns, yarn-dyeds and new, sophisticated finishings. The Beppetech outerwear line unveils coated fabrics, water-repellent fabrics and synthetic fibre references.
According to Piccini, the use of fabrics made from high-quality double and triple twisted yarns improves clothing durability. In terms of sustainable development, the company, a part of the Gaspare Tronconi Industriale Group located in the midst of the Olona Natural Park near the Lombardy River, goes even further. Since last winter an ambitious program of water purification used for dyeing and finishing, baptised H2Olona, has been put in place. The next step in this virtuous dynamic will be attaining Organic Cotton certification.
