Exclusively for the show, Kenta Matsushige has designed a new look teaming a white cotton poplin shirt with kimono-inspired rounded navy pants. An ensemble totally in keeping with the sobriety and elegance of the Maison Kenta Matsushige.
“Première Vision has a special attachment to young design talent. We have been closely following Kenta’s career since his victory at Hyères in 2014. He is immensely talented, incredibly creative and has a tremendous mastery of fabric. It’s a real honour to highlight his talent through this exclusive silhouette made for Blossom Première Vision,” said Guglielmo Olearo, Show Director.
Kenta Matsushige launched his own brand in 2014 after winning the Première Vision Grand Jury Prize at the Hyères International Festival of Fashion and Photography. His refined collection, infused with the culture and spirit of Japanese traditions, is structured, strong and low-key. The brand stands for a balance of calmness and rigour, of French and Japanese elegance. His women’s ready-to-wear collection is presented at the Designers Apartment showroom, an initiative of the Fédération française de la Couture with the support of DEFI.
