Free-spirited volumes

At Blossom Première Vision, Italy’s TESJ focuses on artistic combinations of knit and woven volumes and handles.

For AW 2019-20, TESJ creatively articulates the many facets of fabric to give shape to a collection of jerseys where expertly balanced handles, aspects, density and weights are worked in skilful synergy.

“This season, our new products make full use of our high quality know-how and modern techniques to play with fabric weights, volumes and texture,” says Laura Inghirami, head of collections.

Along these lines, visitors will discover lightness, volume and softness married in a new range of fine wools and carded cashmeres. The end result is at once dense and supple, vibrant and structured.

Plays on contrast continue in compact textures, wrinkled surfaces and soft quiltings. The fabric manufacturer also highlights contrasts between handles and weights.

A matt/shine duality runs across two-tone viscose jacquards. Lurex adds an illuminating metallic dazzle to the finest wools.

Other leading developments this season include an elaboration of voluminous bouclé yarns and felted fabrics, to lend a wild and natural tone to the season.

The colour palette ranges from white and natural tones to warm shades, including browns and blues.

La gamme des coloris s’étend depuis le blanc et les tons naturels jusqu’aux nuances chaudes dont  les bruns et les bleus.
