Opening AW20/21 : Accessories

Accessories with a mysterious seductive power

Moiré, marbled, oxidized, darkly translucent, partly iridescent, softly graduated – autumn-winter 2020-21 accessories have changing aspects, as if alive with an internal magic, sheltering a mystic fire.

Raw materials have hearts pulsating with life. They reveal aged, blackened gold and silver metallisation and hydrocarbon reflections that evolve in dark nuances, with a curiously coloured radiance. A transmutation by strange lights that turns jewellery, buttons, zips and other finishing elements into esoteric objects, harbouring special powers or superstitions.
Forms reveal blunted, eroded, rounded contours, worn away by time or water, or are even gummy or gelled. In more geometric versions, they are roughly cut into the thickness of implacably hard materials, and surface oxidations are inevitably worn down, like antique armour.
Micro sequins, random shines, enamels, coatings with an oily, glossy, satiny, matt look, waxed like milky glazes, iridescences, all infinitely multiply the richness of colour nuances to create complex, dreamy and enthralling materials, nurturing enigmatic transformations.
