Through its new international campaigns, Première Vision wanted to show how close it is to the actors that created the world. The goal is that each of the campaigns of the worldwide Première Vision events (New York, Istanbul and Paris) may depict characters that incorporate their culture and creative requirements.

Meet Première Vision’s brand ambassadors.

February 16: Insider’s creativity

For its February 2016 edition, Première Vision Paris wanted to turn the spotlight on the designers and creatives who work on the upstream side of the industry.

They are the weavers, tanners, furriers, accessory manufacturers, knitters and creative and textile design studios that dream up, invent and create the collections that bring the magic of fashion to life.

 They are the rarely seen and heard talents within the industry.
… And yet, as the tagline states: “Without them fashion would not be nearly as inspired.”

September 15: the future of creativity

September 15, Première Vision Paris focused on the future of creativity. In order to embody the most international and transversal event, Première Vision chose 7 students at major fashion and design schools.

“Inspiration drives us. Creation is our passion. Tomorrow belongs to us.”

Sarah (ESMOD – Berlin), Anne (IFM – Paris), Emmanuel (HEAD-GENEVE – Geneva), Liisa (CHELSEA COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN – London), Zoe (FIT – FLORENCE), Xavier (PARIS COLLEGE OF ART – Paris), Delphine (ENSAV – La Cambre Brussels);

They incarnate the new creative spirit, the desire, the dynamism, the unceasing inspiration.

 International ambassadors

“I chose to accept the Première Vision campaign because I love that Première Vision brings together so many different types of people throughout the world with the same goal of creating something new and special. Relationships are built at Première Vision and it’s a platform to highlight advancement and new ideas in the textile industry.” said David Hart.

At seventeen, he received the Fashion Group International Scholarship Award and moved to New York City to study at the Fashion Institute of Technology. In 2004, he received his BFA in fashion design, with a specialization in evening wear and tailoring. In 2009, Hart launched his independent neckwear line, David Hart & Co. In 2015, David was named a finalist for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, one of the Best New Menswear Designers in America by GQ Magazine, and nominated for The International Woolmark Prize in Menswear for the USA region.

Bora Aksu, new brand ambassador of Première Vision Istanbul, March 2016

For the show’s campaign, Première Vision Istanbul is continuing its story of iconic stars. After Arzu Kaprol for its Istanbul October 2015 edition, Première Vision has selected the globally recognised and talented Turkish designer Bora Aksu.

“I am so thrilled to be part of Première Vision Istanbul. Première Vision is such an amazing platform for designers like myself, providing us the most important tools to create our vision. So being part of something so crucial and important is such an honour,” said Bora Aksu.

Bora Aksu received his first acclaim when he graduated from Central St Martin’s MA in 2002. During his career Aksu has collaborated with other international brands like Topshop, Nike, Converse, Anthropologie, Absolute, Koton, Armaggan, Bracher Endem, People Tree and had seven windows at Selfridges. In 2012 Bora Aksu was asked to join the judging panel of the WGSN Global Fashion Awards and he also won Designer of the Year at the Elle Style Awards, Turkey.

Arzu Kaprol, brand ambassador of Première Vision Istanbul, October 2015

“Creating means being in the moment. Life is generous, and it is a wellspring. Fashion reflects the soul of the present.” – Arzu Kaprol

For the Istanbul campaign, Première Vision has selected an iconic figure in Turkish fashion: Arzu Kaprol. “Première Vision has always been an amazing resource for the designers in the textile industry. Now it has a show in Istanbul, which is very inspiring for the sector,” said Arzu Kaprol.

Arzu Kaprol graduated from Mimar Sinan University, in 1992. In 1995 she received the prestigious “Avant-Garde Designer” award from Beymen Academia. She was named “Fashion Designer of the Year” by Fashion TV in 2007 and the “Elle Style Awards” in 2011. The designer opened her first store in 2007 and currently has nine stores in Turkey. Her collections are sold in thirteen countries, with sales outlets in London, Paris, and New York.
