Writing a new page on colour at Indigo
22 new design studios make their bow this session. The American studio Creativo Surface Design, the English studio Isabella Singleton, the Spanish company Uon and the French studio Les Dessinés are just some of them.
Creativo Surface Design
Showing women’s swimwear, resortwear and activewear pieces at this September’s Indigo Paris, Creativo Surface Design are inspired by current trends from the runway, as well as intense colour forecasting and street culture. Using a bold colour scheme to attract attention as well as information from prevailing trends, Creativo Surface Design produce with the customer well and truly in mind.
Creating prints that derive from hand-rendered drawings and paintings, Isabella Singleton’s digitally printed fabrics are aimed at the high street as well as the high end market. With results that are full of stylised florals as well as graphic geometrics, her creations take inspiration from the tropics in a balance that’s as electric as it is delicate.
One new exhibitor who will showing throughout the upcoming Indigo Paris is Les Dessinés. Presenting prints from clothing through to furniture, her work is attached to the finesse and dynamism of line, as well as the emotion felt from the drawing itself. Utilising bright colours and even warmer tones, her prints are entirely hand drawn.
