Favourites for Paul Lepreux
For spring summer 16, Knitwear Solutions celebrates the flower in bloom, its petals and buds. Florescence, a photographic series by Paul Lepreux, offers up inspiring images in tune with this theme.
The series is taken from his “laboratory,” where he develops his own aesthetic and personal research alongside the work he does for magazines including Stiletto, AD, Elle Germany, or his ad campaigns for Margiela, Hermès and Chanel.
One of his creative challenges lies in suggesting a different reading of a classic subject.
A photo-explorer, his personal research often triggers new collaborations. In ‘Florescence’, he approaches botanicals in a new way, by looking at flowers as living beings, developing a technical process that imparts motion to his subjects.
