Gathered around the President Roland Mouret, the jury of the PV Awards 2011 has reached a decision, which was unveiled in public on Thursday 22 September at noon, in the General Forum of Première Vision.
At the 2011 awards:
• The Grand Jury Prize 2011: EUROMAGLIA - Italy
• Handle Prize 2011: TORAY JAPAN (TORAY INDUSTRIES) - Japan
• Innovation Prize 2011: FEDERICO ASPESI - Italy
• Imagination Prize 2011: FORSTER WILLI / FORSTER ROHNER - Switzerland
Roland Mouret presented a trophy to each of the four winners, the work of artist Miguel Chevalier, one of the pioneers of digital and virtual art.
The warm and vibrant ceremony brought together weavers, spinners, designers and international buyers to celebrate creativity and excellence in textiles.

# The Grand Jury Prize, for the season’s most exceptional fabric,
# Handle Prize, for the fabric with the most astonishing tactile and behavioural
qualities.
# Innovation Prize, for the most innovative, technological and creative fabric.
# Imagination Prize, for the most daring, most surprising fabric in terms of material,
technique, decoration or finishings.
# Early September, the jury will get together for the first time. Its mission will be to
select the most outstanding creations of the Première Vision weavers, from among
the fabrics chosen by the Fashion Team for the show’s forums (Autumn Winter
2012-13 collections).
The approximately 100 fabrics nominated for the 2011 PV Awards will be specially
showcased, marked by a special label, in the show’s General Forum.
# Thursday 22 September, in the morning, the jury will meet once again to deliberate
and choose the prize winners.
# Thursday 22 September, at noon in the show’s General Forum: Roland Mouret,
jury president, will publicly announce the 2011 winners.

Roland Mouret, a French designer based in London for the past twenty years, has been named president of the jury for the 2011 PV Awards.
