Know-how: Artisanal methods of fabric finishing- Belgium
As a specialist in textile printing and finishing, I have a mastery of various techniques such as coating, burnt-out printing, blistering, and printing on knits or pleat grounds and finished garments. I’m rather versatile and like to combine printing with other techniques such as embroidery, shibori dyeing, airbrushing, needle punching, and knitting.
I am a freelancer and for the past 11 years. I have worked with various designers and luxury houses: Christian Lacroix Couture, Nina Ricci, Rochas, Maison Martin Margiela, Veronique Branquinho, Sébastien Meunier, Cathy Pill, Sandrina Fasoli.
I have a great ability to adapt to very different worlds. For me, innovation is paramount and is part of a respect for tradition. I enjoy combining traditional skills with modern technologies to create new textiles. My world is minimalist, refined and contemporary. I find it exciting when a client asks me for
the impossible. Continually going further in one’s research is extremely important. It’s the laboratory aspect of work that I enjoy most.
